This RSM utilizes innovative windporting technology that suppresses background noise and IMPRES smart audio to provide optimal audio performance and enhanced gain capability. In howling wind, driving rain and severe weather, windporting technology helps you communicate effectively and hear clearly. It also prevents water from clogging the microphone, which results in clearer transmissions.
The PMMN4046 features windporting tech, IMPRES smart audio, a volume knob, a coiled cord for enhanced maneuverability, a Push-To-Talk (PTT) button, and a clothing clip on the microphone back for securely attaching to a shirt or collar. This unit is compatible with Motorola XPR 7000 series two way radios, including the intrinsically safe (UL Rated) versions.
